Hands On Technologies ("HandsOnTech") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, and how we use it.

Information we collect

We collect information you submit through contact forms, email or phone, such as your name, company, email address and project details. We also collect standard analytics data like pages visited and device type.

When you use an audit tool, we store the URL you submit, audit results, limited technical request metadata and, after you choose to unlock a report, your email address and verification status. We use a one-time email code (OTP) to verify report access. When you use our chat service, we store the conversation, pages involved, feedback and escalation signals so that we can answer questions and improve the service.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide services, operate and improve audits and chat, prevent abuse, and send relevant updates only where you opt in. We do not sell your personal information. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

Retention and service providers

We retain audit and chat operational data for up to 24 months unless a shorter period is required by law or you request deletion. We use service providers that may process information on our behalf, including hosting, MongoDB database hosting, email delivery, analytics, scheduling and AI service providers. Providers process data only to deliver their services to us.

Your choices

After verifying your email, you may request a copy of the personal data associated with it at /api/privacy/export/, or request deletion at /api/privacy/delete/. For help with an access, deletion or correction request, contact us using the address below.
